The HEP Platform Built for the Way You Practice

Start with Tenzr’s existing exercise library. Add your own videos, instructions, and dosage, or let our team film and build the content for you. Tailor every program to your clinical approach and see patient engagement between visits.

At 23, Lukas suffered a serious lower back injury that left him with two herniated discs and nearly four years of pain. Despite receiving excellent physical therapy, he often felt uncertain about his recovery at home, without clear guidance on his progress, what to do next, or whether he would fully recover.

That experience, combined with his background in biomedical engineering and human-centered technology, inspired him to explore how patients could receive more consistent support throughout recovery.

Before founding Tenzr, Lukas led Canada’s only team to the world’s first Cybathlon, using advanced sensing technology to improve prosthetic limb control. He also co-founded Practical Hospital Solutions, developing human-centered devices for critical care.

For Gautam, the importance of ongoing support became personal through his own health journey. After years of unsuccessful attempts to lose weight, he eventually lost more than 150 pounds. What made the difference was having clear goals, accountability, and encouragement to keep going.

Through his mother, an occupational therapist and multi-site clinical administrator, he also saw how limited time and fragmented tools made it difficult for clinicians to provide consistent patient support.

With a background in medical technology development, including leading systems engineering and R&D at Lungpacer Medical, Gautam brought experience turning promising healthcare technologies into practical solutions.

Together with Lukas, he co-founded Tenzr to help care teams provide patients with the guidance and support they need, while making that care easier to deliver in practice.

How It Works

1. Build Your Exercise Library

Send us the handouts, videos, and instructions your team already uses. Combine them with exercises from Tenzr’s existing library, or let our team film or add any additional content you need.

2. Patients continue at home

Patients use the Tenzr app to complete assigned activities at home, with optional sensors supporting movement tracking.

3. Clinicians stay connected

Clinicians review patient activity and progress remotely, and provide additional support when needed.

Our Mission

See How Tenzr Works

Our Mission

To extend the care clinicians already provide, keeping patients supported and clinical attention focused where it's needed most.

To extend the care clinicians already provide, keeping patients supported and clinical attention focused where it's needed most.

Patients continue following their care plans between visits, building on the guidance they receive from their clinicians. Tenzr helps them stay informed, follow their next steps, and share progress with their care team.

When patients are progressing well, they can keep moving forward. When additional support may be needed, clinicians have the information to follow up.

New Program at Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital

This project will test a new program at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital that helps patients continue their recovery at home using the Tenzr Health Configurable Care Platform. The platform includes an app with which Clinicians can provide simple exercises, reminders, education, and virtual check‑ins. Optional sensors can help track movement and show patients how they are improving. Clinicians can watch progress from a distance and intervene early if something is going wrong.

Patients Receive:

Guided exercises

Reminders

Education

Virtual check-ins
